It has been revealed that Shibuya Nagisa, formerly of an idol group, Kanisawa Moeko, Sakurai Momo, and Tanizaki Saya, all members of the current idol group "≠ME (Not Equal Me)", will be appearing in the movie "You and Idol PreCure♪ The Long-Awaited! A Sparkling Live Show for You!", which will be released nationwide on September 12th.
"Idol PreCure with You," currently airing in February, is the 22nd installment in the "PreCure" series.
The series follows the singing-loving girl Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her team as they transform into the legendary saviors of Idol PreCure, singing, dancing, providing fan service, and fighting to save Kirakiland, which has been shrouded in darkness by the Chokkiri Gang.
In the animated film "Sorry for the Wait! A Kiraki Live for You!", the Idol PreCure perform at the "Super Miracle Idol Festival" held on the mysterious island of Aiai.
During the festival, a mysterious monster appears, threatening the island and the world, sending the girls back in time to a past world.
The clues to saving the island lie in the island's legend of a goddess and Terra (Maaya Uchida), a girl who hates idols.
Characters from the 20th installment, "Spreading Sky! PreCure," and the 21st installment, "Wonderful PreCure!", also appear.
Shibuya's first attempt at voice acting was as a zombie idol.
The producer who witnessed the recording praised her performance, saying, "It was hard to believe it was her first time, as her voice tone matched naturally and she was able to convey the cuteness of the character, which was wonderful."
The three members of "≠ME" will play members of the animal idol group "Safari", with Kanisawa playing the deer, Sakurai playing the pheasant, and Tanizaki playing the wolf idol.
Kanisawa has appeared as a voice actor in "Shine Post" and Sakurai in "Demon Lord, Retry! R", among others, and there was even a scene where Kanisawa and Sakurai led Tanizaki, whose only dubbing experience was in "The Maid I Hired Recently Is Suspicious".
The producer reflected on the recording, saying, "It was a really fascinating scene, with wonderful acting that suited the characters and the team spirit that comes from being in the same group coming through in the dialogue exchanges."
