"Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26," an animated adaptation of eight of Fujimoto Tatsuki's short stories, will be screened in theaters from October 17th.

"Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26" is an animated adaptation of eight short stories drawn by manga artist Fujimoto Tatsuki, known for works such as "Chainsaw Man," "Look Back," and "Fire Punch," between the ages of 17 and 26.
Prior to its release, it will be screened for a limited two-week run in theaters in major cities across Japan starting October 17th.
The eight stories will be screened in two parts, "Part-1" and "Part-2," with four stories each.

Additionally, as an admission bonus, a "Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26 Special Leaflet" will be distributed from October 17th.
The leaflet contains a conversation between the original author Fujimoto and his editor, Hayashi Shihei, in which the two look back on the day and discuss their memories of writing and their favorite memorable panels.
A conversation between the two has been held in the past and garnered a great response, but the conversation recorded this time can be considered a sequel to that.
The contents of the leaflet differ between "Part-1" and "Part-2," and each contains a conversation about the film being screened, as well as anime information.

The film will also have its world premiere at the Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival 2025, which will be held at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood from October 3rd to 5th (local time).
Furthermore, two of the films included in this film, "There Were Two Chickens in the Garden" and "Shikaku," have been nominated for the International Competition Short Film Category at the Bucheon International Animation Film Festival, which will be held on October 24th (local time), and to commemorate this, the film will be released for a limited two-week period on Megabox in Korea starting from October 24th.
"Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26" is a collection of eight short stories that Fujimoto wrote between the ages of 17 and 26, including "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 17-21" and "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 22-26."
The series will be directed by seven people, including Watanabe Tetsuaki (Blue Lock), Takeuchi Nobuyuki (Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?), and Terazawa Kazuaki (The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2).
The series will be produced by six studios: ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS. The cast includes Ono Kensho, Horie Shun, Hanazawa Kana, and Sugita Tomokazu.
The film will be available worldwide exclusively on Prime Video from November 8th. Prior to its release, it will be screened in two parts, "Part-1" and "Part-2," for a limited two-week run starting October 17th in theaters in major cities across Japan. Admission costs 1,400 yen (tax included), with separate admission fees for "Part-1" and "Part-2."
