A special program revealing new information about "Fist of the North Star," a re-animated adaptation of the action manga "Fist of the North Star" by Buronson and illustrated by Hara Tetsuo, will be streamed on Warner Bros. Japan's official anime YouTube channel at noon on September 13th, Fist of the North Star Day.
The special program, "It's Fist of the North Star Day!! All Four Brothers Gather!! ~New Anime Information Release Special~," will feature Takeuchi Shunsuke, who plays Kenshiro, and will announce the casting of the four Hokuto brothers, Raoh, Toki, and Jagi, on the spot.
The program will be available for archive streaming after the premiere.
The original manga "Fist of the North Star," which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1983 to 1988, is set in a late-century world where civilization has been lost due to nuclear war and violence has taken over. It depicts Kenshiro, the successor of the Hokuto Shinken, as he grows into a savior, carrying both love and sorrow.
The re-animated series, "Fist of the North Star," will feature Takeuchi as Kenshiro, Yamashita Daiki as Bat, and M.A.O as Lin.
Broadcasting and streaming are scheduled to begin in 2026.
