"Alma Wants to Be a Family" starts airing on October 5th

It has been announced that the TV anime "Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family" will start airing on October 5th.
It has been revealed that Nagae Rika and Yano Hinaki will appear in the series, and that ZAQ will perform the opening theme song. The main promotional video has also been released.

Nanateru's original work, "Girl-Type Weapon (Alma-chan) Wants to Be a Family," is a sci-fi home comedy manga serialized in the webcomic magazine Comic Newtype from 2021 to 2024. It depicts Alma (voiced by Tsukishiro Hika), a self-learning autonomous combat robot, and her two children, Enji Kamisato (voiced by Suzuki Ryota) and Suzume Yoruba (voiced by M.A.O), whom she regards as her parents, living together as a family under the same roof.
The manga has been published in three volumes, and a sequel, "Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family Z," is currently being serialized.

The series will air on AT-X from 11:00 PM on October 5th, on TOKYO MX and Sun TV from 12:30 AM, on KBS Kyoto from 12:45 AM, on TV Aichi from 1:20 AM, and on BS Asahi from 1:30 AM.
Streaming on various video platforms will begin from 11:30 PM on October 5th.

Nagae will play Makina, a female weapon created from data left behind by Suzume at the university.
Due to the circumstances of her birth, Alma regards her as her younger sister, and she has a cheerful personality and aims to surpass Alma and become the strongest.
Yano will play Neon Wozniak, the daughter of the president of Wozniak Electronics.
Although she is an elegant and refined young lady, she is attracted to Alma's abilities and beauty, and secretly watches over her, waiting for an opportunity to obtain her.
The opening theme song, sung by ZAQ, is titled "Dramatic Overlay."
The main PV, complete with voiceover, includes scenes of Alma and the others awkwardly starting to live together as a family, as well as battle scenes where Alma demonstrates her abilities.
The voices of Makina and Neon can also be heard.
A snippet of the theme song audio has also been unveiled.
