The fifth key visual for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns" has been unveiled. 

Along with the tagline "Our paths are divided," it depicts a fierce clash between Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku, the Upper Rank Six demon.


The Demon Slayer anime series is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. Set in the Taisho era, it follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose sister was turned into a demon, as he throws himself into the battle against demons led by Muzan Kibutsuji.

The anime version, produced by ufotable, aired its first season on TV in 2019, entitled "Tanjiro Kamado: The Unwavering Determination Arc."

By 2024, the following arcs had been produced: "Infinity Train Arc," "Red Light District Arc," "Swordsmith Village Arc," and "Hashira Training Arc." 

The "Infinity Castle Arc" is a three-part animated film depicting the final battle that takes place in the demon's base, "Infinity Castle."

"Chapter 1: Akaza Returns," which was released on July 18th, has attracted 21,102,792 viewers and grossed 29,983,483,800 yen in the 45 days since its release.

The manga "Strawberry Elegy" is currently being adapted into a TV anime; a romantic comedy about stepbrother and step-sisters

Animated project in progress (C) 神馬耶樹 ひらふみ／Suiseisha Inc.  It has been announced that a TV anime adaptation of the manga "Strawberry Elegy: A Messy and Innocent Little Sister and Her Unresolved Brother" is currently in the works. It will be produced as an "AnimeFesta Original," known for works such as "Adam's Sweet Agony." The story is a romantic comedy about the new life of Kota, who became siblings after his parents remarried, and Aika, a high school girl with a kogyaru personality.  The two are very different in personality and often clash, but Aika gradually begins to take an interest in Kota, who is very caring. The first admission bonus for "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" will be a deluxe booklet
