It has been revealed that the TV anime "Don't Touch Kotesashi" will be broadcast and streamed in three versions starting October 5th.
Details of the theme song have also been announced, and the main promotional video and second key visual have been released.
The original work by Shinjo Takuya is a romantic comedy manga currently being serialized on Kodansha's manga app, Magapoke.
Kotesashi Koyo (CV: Yasuda Rikuya), who possesses exceptional massage skills, aspires to become a sports doctor and enrolls in Seiwa University High School, a school with a strong athletic program.
While working as a live-in employee in a dormitory to earn money for tuition, Kote Misaki meets a group of unique female athletes, and is entrusted with their physical and mental care in addition to his duties as a caretaker.
The latest volume, 13, of the manga, was released on October 9th.
The anime adaptation is the third work produced by the anime label, Deregula, whose name comes from the word "deregulation," which means deregulation or liberalization.
The on-air version (with video and audio censorship) will be broadcast on television.
It will start on TOKYO MX at 1:05 a.m. on October 5th, and on BS11 at 1:00 a.m. on the 6th.
It will be streamed on AnimeFesta on the same day it is broadcast. The deregular version (with some video censorship removed) and the on-air version will be streamed on other video services in due course, while the completely deregular version (with uncensored video and audio) will be exclusively streamed on AnimeFesta.
The opening theme song "U.K.U" is performed by the idol group "UtaGe!".
The ending theme song "Ueue↑ High Tension" is sung by the idol group "Palette Parade", and is the unit's first TV anime tie-up song.
Both songs are now available on various music distribution sites.
The first half of the main PV, which includes voice recordings, features the scene where Kotesashi meets the five heroines -- Kusunoki Aroma (Naota Himena), Kitahara Aoba (Serizawa Yu), Sumiyoshi Izumi (Aizawa Saya), Sayamagaoka Chiyo (Murakami Manatsu), and Hongo Miyuki (Aoki Ruriko) -- while "UtaGe!" plays in the background.
The second half, along with "UtaGe!", features Kotesashi, who is on the verge of being kicked out of the dormitory, using his massage techniques to relax the bodies and minds of the five.
The second key visual depicts a world in which the five are transported to a trip after receiving Kotesashi's massage.
It has also been decided that an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 (completely deregular version) will be held at United Cinema Aqua City Odaiba (Tokyo) on September 28th.
After the screening, there will also be a talk show featuring Yasuda, Naota, Serizawa, Aizawa, Murakami, and Aoki.
Tickets are priced at 2,500 yen, and advance lottery entries are being accepted until September 7th.
