Eight short stories by Tatsuki Fujimoto, creator of "Chainsaw Man" and "Look Back," to be adapted into anime

Eight short stories drawn by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the genius creator of manga such as "Chainsaw Man," "Look Back," and "Fire Punch," between the ages of 17 and 26, have been adapted into anime and will be exclusively distributed worldwide on Prime Video from November 8th under the title "Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26."
A key visual and trailer have also been released.
The eight stories to be adapted into anime are from "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 17-21" and "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 22-26," which are collections of one-shot stories that Fujimoto wrote between the ages of 17 and 26: "There were two chickens in the garden," "Sasaki-kun stopped a bullet," "Love is blind," "Shikaku," "Mermaid Rhapsody," "The disease of waking up and finding myself a girl," "Nayuta of the prophecy," and "Younger sister's older sister."

The staff includes seven directors, including Watanabe Tetsuaki of "Blue Lock," Takeuchi Nobuyuki of the film "Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?", and Terazawa Kazuaki of "The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2," and the series will be produced by six studios: ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS.
The cast is a diverse group, including Ono Kensho, Horie Shun, Hanazawa Kana, Sugita Tomokazu, and comedian Okano Yoichi.
Regarding the anime adaptation, Fujimoto commented, "I was worried about whether it was really okay to make an anime version of a work I created when I was a student, and whether it would end up being a work that relied too much on someone's inspiration. However, although I haven't seen it yet, I believe that it has turned out to be a good work because it was made by talented directors."

After losing a war with aliens, humanity is believed to have been wiped out on Earth.
Yohei, an alien student living there, takes care of two chickens at school, but the chickens have a secret.
