"Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 3 "Death Return Part 1" to Start Broadcasting in January 2026

The TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 3)" has been scheduled to begin airing in January 2026, and a teaser trailer has been released. 

The third season will tell the story of "Death Resurrection Part 1," a sequel to the second season.


It was also announced that "Jujutsu Kaisen the Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Edition" x "Death Kaisen Advance Screening" will be released in theaters from November 7th.

The series will consist of the "Shibuya Incident" episode that unfolded in the second season of the TV anime, and episodes 1 and 2 of "Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 3)."

In addition, it has been decided that the "Animation Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition," an exhibition where visitors can relive the "Kaitama/Gama Ori" and "Shibuya Incident" from the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 2)," will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo from December 5th to 29th.

It is also planned to tour various cities. It has also been decided that "Juju Fest" will be held in the summer of 2026 as the final event for the 5th anniversary of the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen."

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime series is based on the battle action manga by Gege Akutami, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2018 to 2024. It depicts the story of Itadori Yuji, a boy who has been possessed by the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, as he enrolls in the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical College and fights against cursed spirits and sorcerers who harm people.

The anime adaptation, which was animated by MAPPA, aired its first season as a TV series in 2020. Following the release of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie" in 2021, the second season of the TV series, "Kaitama/Gamaori" and "Shibuya Incident," aired in 2023.

The manga "Strawberry Elegy" is currently being adapted into a TV anime; a romantic comedy about stepbrother and step-sisters

It will be produced as an "AnimeFesta Original," known for works such as "Adam's Sweet Agony." The story is a romantic comedy about the new life of Kota, who became siblings after his parents remarried, and Aika, a high school girl with a kogyaru personality.  The two are very different in personality and often clash, but Aika gradually begins to take an interest in Kota, who is very caring. The first admission bonus for "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" will be a deluxe booklet

The original is a battle action manga by Fujimoto currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+."  It follows Denji (voiced by Toya Kikunosuke), a devil hunter living a poor life in order to repay the debts his parents left behind.
