It has been revealed that actor Kakizawa Hayato will be trying his hand at voice acting for the first time in the animated film "Toritsukare Otoko," which will be released on November 7th.
Yamamoto Takahiro, Kawada Shinji, Mizuki Nana, and Morikawa Toshiyuki will also appear.
It has also been decided that the theme song will be performed by "Awesome City Club," and the official trailer and visuals have been released.
The film is based on a novel written by Shinji Ishiishi and published in 2001 (the paperback edition is published by Shinchosha). It tells the love story of Giuseppe, a man nicknamed "the crazy man" by those around him because he loses sight of everything else when he is absorbed in something, and Pechika (Moka Kamishiraishi), a young girl who sells balloons.
Giuseppe falls in love with Pechika at first sight and uses the various techniques he has acquired through his years of "tricking" to secretly solve Pechika's worries.
The film will be directed by Wataru Takahashi, who also worked on "Crayon Shin-chan Intense Battle! Robo Dad Strikes Back," and the role of Giuseppe will be played by Shoya Sano of "Aぇ! group," and the role of Pechika will be played by Moka Kamishiraishi.
Kakizawa, who has been newly announced as a cast member, will play Cielo, a mouse who is Giuseppe's trusty partner and works hard to bring the relationship between Giuseppe and Petchka closer.
Yamamoto will play Twist Boss, a gangster in the town where Giuseppe and his friends live who loves twist dance, Kawada will play Salsa Boss, Twist Boss' rival, Mizuki will play Petchka's mother who is hospitalized due to illness, and Morikawa will play Tatan, a school teacher who teaches ice hockey to children abroad.

The theme song, "Fanfare," was written by the male-female twin vocal trio "Awesome City Club."
The lead actors, Sano and Kamishiraishi, will sing a different version of the in-movie song "Fanfare ~Falling in Love~," which has different lyrics and arrangements.
The trailer features voice acting, showing Giuseppe's struggle to bring back Pecca's true smile, and also features Cielo's voice.
The first half features the insert song "Fanfare ~Falling in Love~," while the second half features the theme song "Fanfare."
The visual, accompanied by the catchphrase "I'll do anything for your smile," depicts a lonely-looking Pechka and Giuseppe, who is "obsessed" with various things.
The full comments from the additional cast and Awesome City Club are below:
[Kakizawa Hayato (role of Cielo)]
This is my first time voicing an animated film.
I'm grateful to the warm-hearted team who supported me step by step, even though I didn't know what to do.
The character I played, Cielo, is a mouse who always wishes happiness for his partner Giuseppe.
I still have fond memories of my interactions with Sano-san's cute and innocent Giuseppe.
This film is a story about all the characters thinking about and loving someone important to them.
I'm sure your heart will be warmed after watching it. I hope you enjoy it along with the wonderful music!
[Yamamoto Takahiro (role of Twist Boss)]
Twist Boss is a gang boss, so I had a scary image of him, but I think I was able to play a comical and funny boss. I hope everyone will enjoy the feeling that, "Even though he's called the boss, he's actually a kind, human old man. He's so funny!"
The boss actually has a singing scene, and it's a Western rock song with a twist. In the first half, he keeps the feeling a little scary and sings in a low voice, and then in the second half he sings with all his might.
I hope that this movie will remind people of the kind feelings that make them want to be kind to others.
[Shinji Kawada (role of Salsa Boss)]
As I read through the script I was given, I was completely captivated by the warm and gentle story.
I am truly in awe of the incredible drive of Giuseppe, the "intense man."
Twist Boss's rival, Salsa Boss, is also an energetic man, so I had a lot of fun throwing myself into the powerful action scenes.
The importance and beauty of being passionate about something.
I hope everyone will come to the theater to see the miracles that Giuseppe creates.
[Nana Mizuki (role of Pechika's mother)]
She has a throat disease and a constant cough, giving the impression of being a fragile mother, but in reality she's a very funky mother!
All of her lines are very unique, so I had a lot of fun acting freely.
It's a heartwarming story filled with pure feelings of caring for others with all your heart, so I hope you will watch it with your family, friends and loved ones!
[Morikawa Toshiyuki (role of Tatan)]
I had a feeling that we were going to be able to create something really good, and even during the dubbing process, it had become a film I was very attached to.
The character I played, Tatan, is a tolerant, mature man, and such a wonderful person that even I found myself falling in love with him. His humanity alone is enough to bring tears to your eyes. He is a kind man.
This film shows the connections and bonds between people. It can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and I think it will be a film that you can watch forever. Be sure to see it on the big screen!
[atagi (Awesome City Club) (theme song)]
After seeing the finished product, I felt that it was a warm and gentle work that will be loved for decades to come.
I composed the theme song, "Fanfare," not only for Giuseppe and Petchka in the film, but also with the hope that it would become a hymn to life for everyone.
I hope you will enjoy the excitement leading up to the film's release with us.
