"Little Mouse's Red Vest" to be made into a TV anime

It has been decided that Poplar Publishing's picture book series "Little Mouse's Red Vest" (written by Nakae Yoshio, illustrated by Ueno Noriko) will be made into a TV anime.

The series is a humorous and heartwarming tale of the protagonist, Mouse, whose trademark is his red vest, and his interactions with his various animal friends.

Since the first volume was published in 1974, 43 volumes have been published to date, with a total circulation of over 5 million copies.
