"Ninja vs. Gokudo" begins airing on October 7th. Two promotional videos featuring the theme song have also been released.

It has been decided that the TV anime "Ninja vs. Gokudo" will start airing on October 7th, and details of the theme song as well as the cast members Morikawa Toshiyuki, Ono Kensho, Uchida Yuuma, Hanazawa Kana and others have been revealed. 

A promotional video has also been released.

The original is a battle action manga written by Shinsuke Kondo and serialized on Kodansha's web manga app "Comic DAYS" since 2020. 

Set in a world where ninjas and gangsters are at odds with each other, ninja Shino Tanaka (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi), who has lost the ability to smile due to trauma, and gangster Kiwami (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), who appears to be an elite company employee but controls the underworld, deepen their friendship without knowing each other's true identities, but as the war between the two sides intensifies, the fates of the two men intersect. 

The latest 16th volume of the manga will be released on October 8th.

The first broadcast will be on October 7th at 2:05am (from the second episode onwards it will be 1:59am) on Nippon Television, and on the 8th at midnight on BS Nippon Television. 

Streaming will begin on October 7th at 2:30am exclusively on Prime Video.

Morikawa and Ono, along with Higashiuchi Mariko, Sanpei Yuki, Machiyama Serina, Volcano Ota, and Kanemoto Hisako, will play the role of Kasai Zanzou, the leader of the ninja group "Teito Eight Ninjas" and a "All-Around Omnipotent" ninja with a unique constitution that allows him to "become anything, do anything." 

Uchida will play Matsumoto Nodoka, a member of the "Teito Eight Ninjas" who normally attends law school at university, and Hanazawa will play Yamada Shiki, an information gathering expert who handles all administrative tasks for the "Teito Eight Ninjas."

Among the characters in "Teito Hachinin," Otaka Houchuu will play Akiba Kaiza, a gentle old gentleman who is the second most powerful ninja after Sanzo and the master of the ninja (Shinoha), Furukawa Makoto will play Hasegawa Sako, who outwardly works as a genius surgeon, Yasumoto Hiroki will play Yagi Uryu, Sako's younger brother and a charismatic figure in the Roppongi host club world, and Iguchi Yuka will play Odaka Tome, a genius known for having "a brain 100 years ahead."

Among the characters in "Hakkyokudo of Destruction," Mamiya Yasuhiro will play Yuzawa Kosei, the second-generation boss of the Takemoto-gumi who is a close aide to the yakuza and greatly admires him; Koyasu Takehito will play Yajima Hiroki, the former leader of the motorcycle gang "Seikaten" who is revered as the "God of Motorcycle Gangs"; Sugita Tomokazu will play Kurita Anatomi, an asymmetrical black market doctor; Kusunoki Daisuke will play Saito Hanako, an out-of-the-ordinary giant; and Noto Mamiko will play Kohara Maya, a world-renowned diva.

The opening theme song, "Sweet Disaster," is sung by world-renowned guitarist MIYAVI, while the ending theme, "Until You Die Out," is sung by the five-member band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Two promotional videos have been released: "Ninja Side," which features "Sweet Disaster," and "Yakuza Side," which uses "Until You Die Out." 

The videos also feature the voices of some of the characters whose cast has just been announced.

It has also been announced that an advance screening of episodes 1 to 3, entitled "Everyone! Get ready to watch as soon as possible!!," will be held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo on October 4th. 

Kobayashi, Konishi, and Uesaka Sumire, who plays Gamute, will be appearing on stage. 

Attendees will be given a "Transform Anytime! Severed Head Mask." 

Tickets are priced at 3,000 yen, and advance lottery applications are being accepted on Ticket Pia until 11:00 AM on September 24th.
