The TV anime "One-Punch Man (Season 3)" will start airing on October 5th, and it has been decided that the first episode will be a special program to commemorate the start of broadcasting.
The main staff has also been announced, and a 15-second promotional commercial and key visual have been released.

The original work, serialized by ONE (original author) and Murata Yusuke (manga) on Shueisha's web manga site "Tonari no Young Jump," is a popular hero action manga with a total circulation of over 34 million copies (as of August 2025, print and digital combined).
The story follows Saitama (voiced by Furukawa Makoto), a man who, after three years of intensive training, has acquired the invincible power to defeat any opponent with a single punch. He stands up against the evil clutches of monsters alongside his mentor, Genos (Ishikawa Kaito), and his fellow members of the Hero Association.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2015, and the second season in 2019. The anime's "10th Anniversary 10 Strikes Project" is currently underway.

The show will start airing on TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting from 11:45 pm on October 5th, and on BS TV Tokyo from 12:30 am on the 6th.

The first broadcast special, "Understand it in one hit! A serious look back at the second season of the TV anime 'One-Punch Man'!", will be narrated by Ryusei Nakao, who plays Vaccine Man, the monster who appeared in the first episode of the first season, and will provide a 30-minute summary of the contents of the second season.
A compilation of the first season narrated by Keiko Toda is also available on YouTube.

The main staff includes series composition by Tomohiro Suzuki and character designer Chika Kubota, who will continue to serve in their roles from the second season.
The new director will be Shinpei Nagai of "I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying," and character designers will be Shinjiro Kuroda of "The Moon Leads the Way to Another World Act 2" (prop design assistance) and Ryosuke Shirakawa of "Takopi's Original Sin" (key animation).
J.C.STAFF will continue to handle animation production from the second season.

The 15-second promotional commercial, which uses new footage, features the first performance of the opening theme song "Get No Satisfied!" by JAM Project feat. BABYMETAL.
The key visual released is the "Scariest Version" featuring Garou (Hikaru Midorikawa) and the other monsters gathered together.
Alongside the "Strongest Ver.", the hero key visual that was released prior to the "Scariest Ver.", the "Strongest vs. Scariest Ver.", which depicts the beginning of a fierce battle between the Hero Association and the Monster Association, and individual visuals for each character have also been released.
