P.A.WORKS original anime "Eternal Yugure" begins broadcasting on September 25th; promotional video also released
It was also revealed that Miyu Tomita will be appearing in the film, and that the opening theme song will be "Platform" sung by singer Uru. The first promotional video and key visual have also been released.
Akira Himegami (voiced by Shuichiro Umeda), a high school boy who has been in cold sleep, meets and proposes to an android named Yugure (Yui Ishikawa), who closely resembles his beloved childhood friend, Towasa Oh (Ai Kayano), in a world about 200 years in the future where people are controlled by a unified organization called OWEL.
The content offers a glimpse into the culture and worldview of the story, including the new system known as "Elsie" that replaces marriage. The audio also includes scenes with voices, such as the immensely powerful Yugure fighting Owel while "Platform" plays, and Amor's appearance.
The key visual shows Akira, Yugure, and Amor gathered under a sunset sky with a ruined city behind them.
"Eternal Yugure" will start airing simultaneously across Japan on September 25th at 12:26am on 28 MBS and TBS affiliated stations in the "Super Animeism TURBO" time slot.
The first episode will be episode 0, with the first episode airing on October 2nd. Streaming will begin sequentially on various platforms after the broadcast.
