"Sleeping Beauty (1959)" was the last fairy tale Walt Disney worked on before his death, and it was a masterpiece that took six years to produce from start of production to release.
It was also the world's first animated film made on 70mm film.

The original story is an old European fairy tale collected in Perrault's Fairy Tales and Grimm's Fairy Tales, and Disney has adapted it to a modern style to create an original story.

"Maleficent" is a live-action film told from the perspective of Maleficent, the evil fairy from "Sleeping Beauty."
Released in 2014, it grossed over $750 million (approximately 110 billion yen, as of May 30, 2014 - December 4, 2014, IMDb) worldwide and over 6.5 billion yen in Japan (Movie Producers Association of Japan, January 2015).
Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent, and Elle Fanning plays Princess Aurora.
The film is directed by Robert Stromberg, production designer for "Avatar" and "Alice in Wonderland."
In the Japanese dub, the voice of Maleficent is provided by Rika Fukami, who has frequently voiced Jolie, and the voice of Princess Aurora is provided by Aya Ueto.

"Toy Story: The Mysterious Dinosaur World," which will be broadcast at the beginning of the program, depicts the story that follows on from "Toy Story 3." It depicts the lives of Woody and his friends after their separation from Andy.

Princess Aurora celebrates her birthday by being blessed with beauty and a beautiful singing voice by the fairies. <Story>

In a certain kingdom, a party is held to celebrate the birth of the long-awaited royal baby, Princess Aurora. Three fairies, one after another, cast a spell of good fortune on the princess. Just as the third fairy's turn arrives, an uninvited guest, the evil fairy Maleficent, suddenly appears and casts a terrible curse on Princess Aurora: "By sunset on her 16th birthday, the princess will fall into an eternal sleep.
