The second season of "Tales of Wedding Rings" will begin airing on October 4th in two versions: "Normal" and "Full View."
It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Tales of Wedding Rings", "Tales of Wedding Rings II", will start airing on October 4th, and it has been revealed that the opening theme song will be "Sizuk" and the ending theme song will be performed by Akari Kitou.
The key visual has also been released.
The original work by Meibee is a popular fantasy manga that was serialized in Big Gangan (Square Enix) from 2014 to 2024.
It has 15 volumes in total, and has sold over 1.6 million copies (including e-books).
Sato Haruto (nickname: Sato/CV: Sato Gen), an ordinary high school boy, follows his childhood friend Hime (Kitou) to another world where he embarks on an adventure to become the legendary hero "Ring King" and defeat the threat of the Abyss King (Maeno Tomoaki).
However, in order for Sato to become the King of Rings, he had to marry five princesses and draw out the power of the rings that each of them possessed.
The first season of the TV anime, "Tales of Wedding Rings," aired for a total of 12 episodes from January to March 2024. In the second season, "Tales of Wedding Rings II," Sato and her friends, who lost the decisive battle against the Abyss King, aim for a rematch and undergo bride training with Hime's younger sister, Morion (Miyu Tomita), in order to gain more power.
This series will be broadcast in two versions: the "regular version" and the uncensored "completely visible version."
The completely visible version will air on AT-X from 9:30 PM on October 4th, while the completely visible version will air on TOKYO MX and BS11 from 10 PM, and on Sun TV from 10:30 PM.
The completely visible version will be simultaneously broadcast on terrestrial TV and streamed at the earliest in Japan on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Animehodai from 10 PM on October 4th, while the completely visible version will be streamed exclusively on ABEMA Premium and U-NEXT from 10 PM on October 11th.
Additionally, all episodes of the completely visible version of the first season will be streamed in advance on ABEMA Premium and U-NEXT from August 29th.
Shunryu's music project "Sizuk" will be performing the opening theme song for the second season, "Daybreak," following on from the opening theme song for the first season, "Lover's Eye." The CD will be released on October 5th.
The ending theme song, sung by Kito, who plays the main heroine Hime, has been titled "any if." The audio will be available for download starting October 5th, and the CD will be released on October 15th.
The key visual for the second season brings together the main characters, hinting at the final battle in which Sato and the five princesses once again challenge the Abyss King, putting the fate of the world on the line.
The full comment from the theme song artist is as follows:
[Sizuk (opening theme song)]
The song, lyrics, sound and lyrics were not about dawn coming if you just wait, but about forging through difficulties in order to touch the dawn for yourself and the world. I wanted to fight just like Satou, Hime and all the other beings that appear in the story.
As we enter Season II, which depicts the dark abyss and the desire for a bright future, I aimed to create an opening song that would inspire the hearts of those who listen.
I would be grateful if you would listen to it when it's time for a showdown!
(Shunryu)
[Akari Kito (ending theme song)]
I'm Kito Akari, and I'll be performing the theme song for the TV anime "Kekkon Ring Story II"!
I'm truly honoured to be able to colour the world of Kekkon Ring Story both as a character voice and as an artist.
This song is themed around marriage and expresses love and life in a grand way. It's a truly wonderful song, and I had a lot of fun singing it.
I hope you enjoy it along with the anime.
