Junya Enoki, Ayumu Murase, Shunsuke Takeuchi, and Kentaro Kumagai have been confirmed to appear in the TV anime "Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers," which will begin airing in January 2026. A teaser PV and teaser visual have been released.

The film is the official sequel to the "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" series, which began in 1988.

In the original series, five boys who were brought together by fate became "Samurai Troopers" wearing "Yoroi Gear" and faced the threat of the evil emperor Arago, who led an army of strange creatures to threaten people.

The musical unit "NG5," formed by the voice actors who appeared in the series, also received positive reviews.

"Yoroiden" weaves a new story with a completely original plot set in present-day Shinjuku.

I'm very happy to be able to take part in the sequel to the popular "Samurai Troopers"!
I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere of this work, which is a mix of Reiwa and Showa, so I hope you'll all look forward to it!

Ayumu Murase (role of Musashi Hojo)]

I never thought I'd be able to take part in the sequel to such a legendary work!
There are many seniors on set who are fans of the series, so I'm acting with excitement and joy.
I hope you'll look forward to it!

[Shunsuke Takeuchi (role of Yamato Hojo)]

Is this the Reiwa era's "NG5"!?
Sorry for getting all excited. It's Takeuchi.
The cast of "Samurai Troopers" is friendly, but there's a lot of ad-libbing, and it often gets out of hand.
I also ad-lib, hoping that it will only please the seniors here. The sound director has scolded me, telling me to do it properly, Takeuchi. I won't give up.
Anyway, it's NG...or rather, new Samurai Troopers, reborn in the Reiwa era! Thank you for your support. Armed!

[Kentaro Kumagai (role of Shion Ishida)]

(C)SUNRISE

My name is Kumagai Kentaro, and I will be the voice of Ishida Shion.
A sequel to "Samurai Troopers" set 38 years after the events of the series...!!
I feel humbled to be involved and to have been entrusted with the voice of Shion.
I will do my best to play the slightly sarcastic, yet passionate character.
I look forward to your support.
